Sports Photography Workshop
Sports photography requires its own specialized set of skills and technical challenges. This workshop will focus on solving these challenges and giving participants tricks, techniques and tools to add to their camera bag.
We will focus on two specifically different types of sports. Indoor sports and outdoor sports, each with its own specific challenges. We will work on freezing the action, getting sharp and sellable prints.
Participants will need a camera with a minimum frame rate of 5 frames per second, a small aperture lens 2.8 or better, and at least one lens with at least a 200mm focal length.
Although there are no prerequisites for this workshop, photographers should have a good knowledge of their cameras settings and how to adjust them. They should be familiar with Manual exposure mode operation as well as Aperture mode.
Photographers should bring a change of clothes and some cold weather clothing as we will be outdoors for a portion of the day.
